Thinking of our Cambridgeshire colleagues too, who ran towards incredible danger putting the safety of others before their own.

A true team effort, that requires bravery and absolute selflessness.

Instead, I Met colleagues from:

✅ Project Alpha
✅ Specialist Crime
✅ Other BCUs / OCUs

Brilliant people, doing phenomenal Police work.

They make me so, so proud.

All you need to know, is he’d do anything to stay, and will be a significant loss to Policing tomorrow.

They vary in requests for builds or how people are feeling or jobs that they’ve been too and I am always truly humbled by most of them.

In the last 24 hours some of the work I’ve read has left me speechless.

Today poignantly we remember two Metropolitan Police Officers killed in the Line of Duty, protecting the public.

PC Nina Mackay who died on this day 28 years ago.

PC Kulwant Sidhu who died on this day 26 years ago.

Our profession can take everything from us.
