Uhhhh what just flew over my house??! 👽 I was looking for Perseids and didn't seen any but saw this at 1034pm EDT over Maryland, moving northeast. Never saw anything like that before. Much bigger and brighter than a shooting star and much slower and lasted for minutes. @philplait.bsky.social ideas?

After Amsterdam introduced the 30 km/h speed limit on most roads, the first results are in:

- Crashes on these roads dropped by 11%
- Road noise is down by 1.5 decibels
- Most drivers now respect the new limit, with serious speeding (over 55 km/h) dropping from 1% to 0.2%
