4 things their Democratic Party has that we don’t:
1. Party assigns every candidacy for legislative races.

For most, you are expected to run in competitive districts by your 3rd term. Your safe seat will be given to someone the party leadership thinks drive the message better.
every day I think about the comms strategy of the korean opposition party in the wake of the coup and I get so burningly resentful that other countries have legislators who are awake

"Rich kids are gaming disability accommodations to gain an unfair advantage" is actually very different from "America has an extra-time-on-tests problem" — and the author hasn't proved that either! Rich kids might just be more likely to be diagnosed.

Drug dealing is bad, except when presidents, nation-states, and pharmaceutical corps do it. See: British in China, French in Indochina, the biggest opium dealers in the world. The ones who pay are dealers on the streets, alleged drug runners in boats, or the demon of the day, Maduro.

How many 9 loss seasons is too many for this “high floor” here?
This is the point of points for me. Fitz is a great high floor coach. Your team will probably never truly suck for a long time. But even with several opportunities he was 0-for-Life at NW against the big boys … even when they were down
Did Pat Fitzgerald ever win a game against a team with more talent than his at Northwestern?

I would have thought so, but looking back at their biggest wins.. I think maybe their win over Christian McCaffrey and Stanford in 2015 might be the only one

At this point it’ll be a mammoth task; I’m all open to be proving wrong but when was the last time we had a dem elected president with the task of giant reform or accountability involving “looking back” and then they did it?
One of the most important jobs of the next Democratic president will be, at a minimum, firing all of these people
