Remember for the next election there are no simple solutions to the complexity of issues in our country. Whenever a politician says they can easily fix something they are lying. We need experts and a team of people well educated in all the diverse fields to collaborate and a leader who will listen.

The fact that Trump got elected twice makes me more cynical towards Democracy as a whole. I can almost feel the hate for such a type of government that Plato felt after it killed his mentor.

Why do companies say "you should have prepared better" when you unexpectedly run into something and are a few minutes late, but when you need off early and give them ample notice they want you to work up to the exact moment you have to leave to be where you need to be exactly on time?

Insurance companies are equivalent to lending money to the shitty relative who promises to not only pay you back, but to pay you more for lending to them.
The when you go to get th money back there is every excuse, more than you care to hear on why they can't, but will pay you even more later on
