This is unfortunate, leading to intense financial stress (the most consuming stress IMO). Sure, my generation (Gen X) is also struggling compared to our parents' generation. However, new graduates (class of 2026 and beyond) are in for a very challenging life post higher ed.

This is one of the most stunning crinoids in my collection. Gennaeocrinus mourantae from the Devonian Arkona Fm. of Ontario. A large pocket of these were found decades ago and very few have been found since.
