Sen. Bernie Moreno, R-Ohio, just introduced a bill to ban Americans from holding dual citizenship. The bill says that to “preserve the integrity of national citizenship, allegiance to the United States must be undivided.” It’s called the Exclusive Citizenship Act.

This year has made it so blindingly obvious that news medias "the presidency is too important to be left in the hands of an elderly elected official" crusade wasnt about any sort of actual merits and was instead entirely about aesthetics and furthering personal vendettas

I love sicario as a movie but this is pretty spot on
I have been periodically saying this for a while, but the movie is far more compatible with the worldview of the knuckle-draggers than most people think
Rewatching Sicario for the first time in 6 or 7 years.
I’m reminded of how easy it might be for some 22 y/o to watch this movie and join CBP thinking that if they play their cards right they’re going to be an operator fighting cartels rather than kidnapping construction workers off of the street.
