I'm a Francophone who lives and works in English. Here is what I think of the Liberal Debate in French.
Carney just gave an answer that sounds like a speech he would give an English but that they stuffed into Google translate. Not good. Chrystia Freeland is speaks like she quit French immersion in grade 8. Bayliss was able to make a joke. Gould is the best Anglophone in this debat.

The most pro-Canada voice of the guests was David Frum, who, historically, is no fan of Canada, and loves the USA. And this is the problem with the program. Is this what the narrative is in the upper echelons of our society? Varying degrees of Quisling supplicants?
I found that the majority of callers, on both sides, were not in favour of the 51st rhetoric.
