To put a finer point on this whole thing: "Two people with direct knowledge of the operation" — presumably uniformed military leaders — are accusing the U.S. Secretary of Defense of personally ordering specific war crimes. That's a historic accusation.

I feel like statistically, it is highly improbable there is not *some* other life out there. But little green men in spaceships? Hard no.
The vibes have really shifted following the elections. Protests, chaos, polls, and electoral defeats have thoroughly demonstrated Trump’s unpopularity and institutions are now more emboldened to fight back.

I generally agree that the profit motive provides incentives to innovate to reduce costs. However this “innovation” frequently looks like cutting very important corners.
