A couple of years ago, I made a cartoon visualising the real marketing funnel.
Fast forward a few years and I thought it would be fun to do it again but this time visualise the conversion funnel.
As much as we would love it to be fairly straightforward, the reality is far more chaotic.

One of the best ways to understand how important a data request is, is to ignore it altogether. If people chase and follow up, it's probably important.
Caveat though, it might only be important to them.
