In California, the DOJ has deployed poll monitors in Los Angeles, Orange, Kern, Riverside, and Fresno Counties. In New Jersey, they’re stationed in Passaic County. Don’t let these voter intimidation tactics by the Trump administration stop you from voting.

Stop calling for resignations and start calling for arrests.
Sens. Schumer, Merkley, Murray, and Peters are calling for the resignation of OMB Director Russell Vought.

"By impounding billions of dollars … and aggressively pursuing the illegal use of pocket rescissions, Vought has done everything in his power to gut the federal government piece by piece."

Everything Trump is doing now is a preamble for his regime's real goal: to invoke the Insurrection Act.

I don’t want to unduly alarm you, but you need to be aware of this imminent danger. Let me explain what’s going on.

My biggest complaint with the new Superman movie is them giving Ma and Pa Kent southern accents. They're Kansans; they're not from the South!

Other than that, though, fun movie!

This is literally "Your papers, please." It's Stasi shit. That's what Homan is declaring, here.

Anyone who "looks foreign" is subject to detainment and harassment. Fail to persuade ICE thugs of your citizenship, and you risk arrest.

And we've all seen video of what happens if you try to turn away.
Homan: "People need to understand ICE officers and Border Patrol don't need probable cause to walk up to somebody, briefly detain them, and question them ... based on their physical appearance."

Interesting theory that recent LLM modells' use of the em-dash is tied to token minimization (and the scanning of pre-digitization texts).

This is so true. 99% of book bans have the intended effect: you never hear about those books again. The 1% of banned books that become infamous bestsellers elsewhere are not the norm.
