Life is too short to keep reading a book you don’t like. I have at least 8 books I DNF in my book log this year. You have permission from your friendly neighborhood library assistant to give up on that book. It’s ok.

Pretty sure I have a torn labrum in my hip 😭. I think I can pinpoint when it happened (stepped awkwardly carrying a book crate a month or two ago and felt a sharp pain) But now the pain is relatively constant. Seeing the doctor on Monday but man this sucks

One of the best parts of my job is getting to discuss books with my boss and my coworkers. Yesterday my boss and I were both at the desk and it was slow so we talked abt the 📕 I was reading & I asked “Have you ever read, or..attempted to read James Joyce?” She said “attempted is the word” 😂 (cont)
