I don’t really know what I’m doing on here, which would make me nervous except I survived uploading 7,000 sorority pics in the early aughts of Facebook, so I’m pretty sure I’ll be ok.
Money Together, our new book, enters the world today.

It’s also the 100th post in The Joint Account, which I swear to you, was an unplanned surprise.

So in the spirit of milestones and the importance of communication, @dougboneparth.bsky.social and I asked each other some questions. Enjoy. 👇👇👇

PODCASTERS: We’ve been on the circuit recording before our new book, Money Together, launches next week 🤩.

We’ve got the finance crowd covered.

But what about the love, family, parenting, and relationships spaces?

We belong there, too!

Well, sorry it’s not under better circumstances than ranting about the skyrocketing costs of healthcare, BUT…

I’m in The Cut for the first time today, sharing my thoughts on why we’re seeing what we’re seeing this open enrollment season.

Your girl’s article was “above the fold” in yesterday’s CNBC Make It newsletter!

And by above the fold, I mean, Jim Cramer lol.

No but really, I am so freaking grateful for all the love Money Together is receiving already.

10/28’s the day! Have you preordered yet?

Praise from colleagues is nice, but as an author, nothing feels more meaningful than hearing from those whose stories you were privileged enough to share.

This is starting to happen, and I am beside myself with humility and gratitude. Wow.

People keep asking us what “fair” means in the context of relationships.

Well, it looks something like this.

(He REALLY wanted to be a Saja Boy. I waddled around all night in a 20 lb wig and latex shorts better suited for a fictional K-Pop star. Because I love him.)

After spending two years interviewing couples about money, I can state with confidence that no one looks back wishing they put another 10 hours a week into their jobs. It’s quite the opposite.

We hold onto how we cared, and who cared for us.

It’s May.

Our book is due soon. Kids are busy. Firm is beyond busy.

We fell a little off the wagon.

In this week’s TJA, @dougboneparth shares some tips on staying the course (or as he puts it, “staying regular” 🥴)

Take Your Child To Work Day is as important for the workplace as it is for our children.

In a world with little-to-no bifurcation, where we are constantly “on” or expected to be, the more we normalize showing our full lives at work, the more we foster environments that support families.
