Prices go up, prices go down, capacity has dramatically expanded with offset shops investing in digital printing, but will it just? Things always change. ;)
We gave been bidding two projects and reps from two offset/digital houses and one digital-only shop (MI, WI, IA) told me they are not experiencing scarcity. Their bids were also lower than what we were seeing 16 months ago.
