Two things can be simultaneously true:

- It's worse for a middle-aged man to be into 5-years-olds than 15-year-olds
- It's still pretty damn wrong for a middle-aged man to be into 15-year-olds!
Megyn Kelly: "I know somebody very close to this case…Jeffrey Epstein, in this person's view, was not a pedophile…He was into the barely legal type, like he liked 15 year old girls…He wasn't into like 8 year olds…There's a difference between a 15 year old and a 5 year old."

To the online warriors who think that Bill Clinton is some kinda gotcha -

I want all the sexual predators out of power. All of them. Even if it means every single Democratic candidate that ever has or ever will be. I want all of them to not make important decisions & not have the ability to harm.

I was told by a friend’s dad that I had ‘good breeding hips’ at 14/15. I was horrified but my friend just laughed it off.
I want people to understand that in my youth, a youth that happened somewhere between the youth of Epstein, Trump, Maxwell, ex-Prince Andrew, et al & that of their victims, the term "jail bait" was framed as a compliment.

"This could take down Democrats, too."

I know. And I frankly wouldn't give even an itty bitty damn if it implicated every Democratic man in Congress, every Democratic hopeful for 2028 and every Democrat who has even thought about running for office.

Down with the sex predators, wherever they are.

Important to understand the Epstein stuff and the fascism and the corruption are, in a lot of ways, really all the same story from different angles: powerful men who can and do abuse vulnerable people around them because they can, and because systems of elite accountability catastrophically failed

I never went to Starbucks before the boycott because of their union busting. That’s something I will not support if I can avoid it and Starbucks I can avoid.
Pissed at politicians? There’s still one place where we have unequivocal power to make change: and that’s with our wallets. So please don’t buy Starbucks until they give in to demands for better working conditions. This is a no-brainer & a way we can really make change. Please sign the pledge below.

Hi, I’m autistic. That guy is just being nice. He probably doesn’t even like being around me. That girl is just really friendly.
Can you tell when a person is crushing on you?

My grandma gave me The Mists of Avalon when I was a preteen growing up in very old school gendered roles kind of household. It gave me a language for how I never had fit in. My moon/only tattoo is from that book.
performative reading, lack of reading skills, nobody's reading anymore -- NO!

tell me about a book that changed you

for me? the *extremely* ahistorical novel, THE AGONY AND THE ECSTASY which I read at 13 and was like, "Oh, art can be *everything* to a maker, for good and bad"

Trying to piece together footage from the last few months in any coherent way just feels like making a trailer for a horror movie starring the feds...and all things considered, that's probably about where we're at.

We’re all trying to figure out who controls the democratic Senate caucus, because that person should resign.
I will not support the Republican bill that’s on the Senate floor because it fails to do anything of substance to fix America’s healthcare crisis.

Your colleagues promised us — promised activists, promised social media influencers, promised organizations — that they were actually going to fight for the ACA, that it was non-negotiable.

You lied to us. You betrayed us. And this is your plan? I know you're not this stupid Sheldon.
The sooner we get past internal recriminations and back to fighting united, the better off we all are — the likelier our victory next November.

Amazing moment in time right now where people who yelled at us for sticking to genocide as a red line are now also disgusted with Democrats and threatening not to vote for them. So your health insurance becoming more expensive was your red line?

White people: Well, this is a problem. We must completely destroy everything to make sure they are suffering. Even if it kills us.

It is honestly kind of a big deal for one of our major papers to even be using the word "allegedly" when referring to an initial police statement.

This happened in York, PA from 2020-2023. School board banned 100s of books and students were protesting every day in many different ways. Until the school board switched and they banned banning books.
They shouldn’t have to clean up the mess adults are making, but these teens who overturned book bans at their statewide reading bowl are worth celebrating. Get to know them (& what they’re excited to read!).
Last month, it was teenagers who got 8 books banned in a statewide Georgia reading bowl back into the competition. These literary heroes deserve recognition–get to meet three of these rad book-loving intellectual freedom champions.

People should do check in's with themselves about what things they are not saying or doing because they are afraid of conservative backlash, including threats and bombardment

You need to pay attention to how you are being worked on and how fear is being used to govern you
In the years after the Me Too movement, it seemed like there was finally an open forum to have urgent discussions on the prevalence of sexual violence on university campuses. But that momentum has faded with the pandemic, austerity, and rising conservatism.

Without enough brothers to fill their houses, some fraternities have begun renting rooms to non-students desperate for cheap rent. The results have been messy.

If you can, please go to:
