REQUIRING DOCTOR’S NOTES IN ORDER TO EXCUSE ABSENCES IS BY DESIGN CLASSIST—ESPECIALLY IN A COUNTRY WITHOUT UNIVERSAL HEALTHCARE!!
Reminds me of the time Mathieu Fleury was playing around in photoshop during the pandemic thinking he could design a new facade for the Chateau Laurier as the Salvation Army shelter build was stopped because it didn’t match his vision of a cutesy “Main Street” for Vanier.

If he had ever actually done an IQ test, he would know this was not one. And anyone who has ever had to manage elderly parents with cognitive issues, knows this test well. It appears he has done it several times. That usually indicates significant concern and behavioural changes.

This is the thing about dementia. The patient thinks things are happening that aren’t.They have great trouble learning anything new & replace known things & known memories with new imagined ones. They cannot be convinced differently. They anger easily & irrationally. They will deny even obvious proof.

The energy we need is this suburban dad standing out in the street -- barefoot with Blackhawks pajama pants on -- screaming at the masked goons to get the fuck out of their neighborhood.

This is one of the stupidest takes I’ve ever heard.

I mean, for a start, what pro-Palestine protest in Ottawa ever lasted more than a few hours?

Did they honk horns all night long, sleep depriving neighbourhoods? Block roads for weeks at a time, impacting medical care kids with cancer?

Seeing a magazine known for posting photos of rich people at philanthropic galas and drunk 20-year-olds at local bars effectively function as a propaganda arm of the mayor’s office feels very on point for Ottawa Mayor Mark Sutcliffe
I will try to find it, but that doesn’t sound like it bodes well for the entire food & beverage industry who use the exact same cocoa powder that protein shakes do. Confectionery and bakery sectors, including chocolate bars, cakes, cookies, and pastries use more cocoa powder than those health shakes

If lead stemming from contamination comes from cocoa post harvest drying processes then what chocolate is exempt from that? All chocolate comes from cocoa beans unless it’s not actual chocolate
A lot of those protein powders come in tetra packs. Those tetra packs have a metal looking liners, sometimes it’s plasticized aluminum but if there are manufacturers cutting corners and packaging is sneaking through then inspections are being missed. Just a theory
Again if chocolate powder is high in lead then all chocolate is high in lead. This report doesn’t specify anywhere why the powders are high and powders are literally just ground up products like chocolate
As are the other accounts it’s reposting from too. Might wanna block the DOW and homeland security too.
Yeah the CR report is what this thread is about. Problem with the CR report is that it doesn’t say where the lead is coming from and I suspect it’s from the packaging and not the powders unless someone is purposely putting something in the powders to bulk up the net weight
Still, cocoa doesn’t have lead. If that’s true then all chocolate is high in lead. Hmmm. Not that I trust AI but here’s what the robots say.
Don’t worry the international lobby groups are shaking hands with them right now and putting copyright on seed grown in Canada as we speak. They got all kinds of money or at least corporate monsanto-y backing
Not to mention county and provincial governments spraying it from choppers every year into forests so they can kill off broad leaf species and get their machines in to harvest all those hydro poles for the next subdivision. No joke. Serious talk. It’s in MNR’s 448 pg 10 yr plan
Hold up. Plants only have lead in them if they are grown in contaminated soil. This report doesn’t say where the lead is coming from. I have suspicions it’s leaching from the packaging. Those bro shakes have wacky containers. If the powders have lead your whole foods have lead too by this account.

Cool how Meta bans news publishers on Facebook, yet allows this gibberish to remain:
