I know I'm always banging on about this, but food banks can do so much more with your donation if you give money rather than food itself.
food banks have already been under pressure over the past several years, and with SNAP benefits expiring they're going to be the only safety net for a lot of people

Considering how bad tariffs are about to be, I won’t be able to get merch from 70% of my suppliers.
Now isn’t the time to keep “secret” where we get our merch from. We are /all/ going to be affected by this, badly. (Always thought that was silly anyways)

a while back I thought I could sell my old TCG collection on a certain website. Only to find out that they:
- send me emails I can't opt out of
- won't let me change my email
- won't let me delete my account
- doesn't offer large-scale inventory control unless you make it big on their site

Making your DLC trailer with GenAI just demonstrates how little you care about your customers, your product, and your craft, and that you only care about money.
Hell, that can be said for making ANYTHING with GenAI. Taking the lazy route over actual work is always very telling.

Fandom needs interaction to thrive, if u want to keep enjoying art, fic, edits, animations, silly little hcs, and all of that gud stuff, give some of the love back that creators pour out for you, fandom shouldn't be /content/ to mindlessly consume, let it be a dialogue of love and appreciation 🙏✨❤️
I think a big fandom shift in interacting with stuff has gone from people commenting under the created thing whether it be fic or art to people linking it in private discord groups where the person who made it will never see any positive comments left on the thing they made.
