One of my childer keeps trying to convince me she doesn't actually need a license because she can outmaneuver the police or charm her way out of a ticket.

One thing that I can deeply appreciate about a good author is coming back to the writing some twenty or thirty years after the fact and finding something new that didn't stick out the first time reading it.

I miss when I didn't have to hide all the time. It used to be a lot of fun to mingle with other kindred in person.
Then again there were also some annoying times. Like when I had to Dominate a handsy Ventrue to get him to leave me alone. Told him to go kiss a rat. Heh.
