The performative “good man/good woman” are really red flags in the light. I just hate that most of us were taught it’s the opposite. And that unwarranted shame of being ungrateful to be on the receiving end.
Men get more wrapped up in wanting to be perceived as the good guy vs actually being a good person. They use your embarrassment & shame of being played as a guarantee of keeping u quite. Learned that w/ my NJ ex.
