Nice! These days I tend to do a preliminary sketch in colored pencil before starting a painting (and often revisiting while working on the painting). I'm also fond of these sketches! Thanks for the feedback!

In the #artstudio I've been working on this #painting that references the #pleinair #oilpainting sketch of #boathouses from a couple weeks ago. I think I have about three more passes to go on this piece. Up next: work to push the top landscape back in space and warm up the water's reflection.

Thanks! I've experimented with a some different jig setups for my last couple prints - that has made a big difference in the result it seems. I've also been trying to get by with a brayer that is a bit too small for my plates and plan to change that with the next one. I hope you give it another go!

Finished an edition of this four plate #linocut #print this weekend as well. I love how the long shadow and the texture turned out. I'll be taking some nice photos of everything and putting it on my website soon.
