Trying to embrace all the fun feelings about this World Series while I can before the Dodgers murder them by buying up the five best free agents this offseason.
It's just the best sport.
World Series, you're drunk. (complimentary)
All-timer World Series guaranteed.

THE HAND THAT ROCKS THE CRADLE (the original): The fun thing about '90s movies is that sometimes the 12th highest grossing movie of its year will be the most casually deranged thing you've ever seen. An oddly thoughtful version of a fairly thoughtless movie. The ladies own. Miss you, Curtis Hanson.
My god, they have to play again tonight.

The Jays and Dodgers will break for Christmas Eve to share a drink in no man’s land, show each other photos of the family they left back home, before heading back to their respective trenches.

I’m watching the World Series. I’m taking part o the Stanford prison experiment. I’m at the combination World Series/Stanford prison experiment
As the prophecy foretold ...
Is this bad?

RIP to a real one.
Here, let me save all the industry trades some hand-wringing: SPRINGSTEEN is doing bad this weekend because no one knew it was coming out this weekend.

I'm sorry, if you have to ask ChatGPT how to do a road trip, you've failed as a human being. You are a backseat passenger to your own life. You are wallpaper paste that dried into human shape.
ALERT MILWAUKEE MOVIE FANS: Guillermo del Toro's FRANKENSTEIN is coming to the Times Cinema this weekend!
Can't sign up for an OrangeTheory workout thanks to all the glitchery, so I guess I'll have to do the next best thing: go to the work vending machine and buy anything and everything covered in cheese dust.

Nice web infrastructure you got there. Be a shame if someone bought up a third of it and then suddenly crashed without warning.

This has been litigated and re-litigated and it wouldn't have made sense for the Brewers anyway so it's fine, but when you know you're a playoff team, you make playoff moves at the deadline. You think anyone will remember he was meh in the regular season now? Literally no one.
(Whispers very loudly)

and THAT is why you push to get Eugenio Suárez at the deadline

That interview where David Letterman says to Joaquin Phoenix “Joaquin, I'm sorry you couldn't be here tonight,” except Joaquin Phoenix is the Brewers and tonight is the NLCS

Yeah, this series has been a bag of bummers. All my trade deadline concerns about the lineup have come home to roost. But this team still made MKE history, claimed the league's best record, ended the Cubs, made the NLCS and won us free burgers. There are worse ways for a baseball fan to spend a year
What I'm NOT gonna do is pretend like this hasn't been one of the best Brewers seasons of my lifetime.
