Yes, I’ve been indicted. But I don’t want people to lose sight of what got us here.

Thank you for having me, @chrislhayes.bsky.social on @allinwithchris.bsky.social to discuss why these atrocities need to end and why there needs to be real accountability.

Obama: As for the president, he has been focused on critical issues like paving over the rose garden so folks don't get mud on their shoes and gold plating the Oval Office and building a ballroom… If you can't visit a doctor, don't worry. He will save you a dance.
“We will disrupt through witness, remembrance, and the courtship of the imagination. We will escort children past the darkest warrens of the forest. We will construct kites that stay aloft in the rain. We will champion what is beautiful, and so finally make our opponents irrelevant."

New YouGov poll say 8% of America participated in NO Kings. Media massively undercounts protests. Local media used an early Portland Police estimate for Portland of 40,000. Organizers of the downtown event said 65,000, and dozens of events were held elsewhere in the city and surrounding metro area.

You've heard that message from the source of whatever path you follow, very likely. 'This too shall pass'. Even if it's hot in your heart at the moment, or gnawing at your brain like a fiery little animal.
“They were careless people, Tom and Daisy—they smashed up things and creatures and then retreated back into their money or their vast carelessness, or whatever it was that kept them together, and let other people clean up the mess they had made.”

There would be no spring.

“When they throw the water on the witch, she says, “Who would have thought a good little girl like you could destroy my beautiful wickedness”. That line inspired my life. I sometimes say it to myself before I go to sleep, like a prayer.”

Edward Abbey : My loyalties will not be bound by national borders, or confined in time by one nation’s history,[..]I pledge my allegiance to the damned human race, and my everlasting love to the green hills of Earth, and my intimations of glory to the singing stars, to the very end of space and time

I've saved her some time.

The Walton family (who own Walmart) are worth over $400 billion, yet many of their employees are on SNAP.

Bezos is worth over $400 billion, many Amazon employees require SNAP.

The people who need help are not the problem.

It’s corporate greed. It’s an unwillingness to pay a living wage.
