We are disappearing people. Act accordingly.

Regarding the AI vids promising to bring people back to life, I need to say this: absence is a presence all its own. An absence holds truths and revelations, even joys, like a presence. Stop fucking with the universe. Stop aggrandizing the lives of people who have not lost people dear to them.

A reminder for those who are not aware: "remigration" is the process of deporting all non-white people from a country. It includes citizens and is, by definition, ethnic cleansing.

And to be clear: this is not fake. I just screenshot it myself.

The DC shooting story is really getting to me because we literally trained this man as a child soldier for a death squad in a forever war and Stephen Miller et al want to blame it on other cultures? It's our culture, American culture, that killed that woman.

Stephen Miller is trying to convert the United States into a country where you are targeted by the government for torture and punishment because you’re a member of the nonwhite groups he considers inferior to himself and enjoys seeing suffering. That is what is happening.

No idea why an Afghan refugee shot National Guard soldiers within walking distance of the White House, but this new USCIS directive was revealed on Monday. Worth noting.
The folks at @afghanevac.bsky.social have in hand a new USCIS directive which largely targets Afghan refugees who fled the Taliban in the wake of the U.S. withdrawal in 2021.

In case you needed a reminder that the most loathsome people in the world work for DHS.

Republicans have spent the last fifty years aggressively (and very successfully) bullying the press into being feckless chickenshits when it comes to telling the truth about Republicans and their usually corrupt, unpopular policies

Trump is just the least-subtle version of it
By the way, note that the description of Biden as being "in obvious mental decline" was left in the speech, while the description of Trump as the "most openly corrupt president in American history" was removed:
Note that the BBC openly admits in an email to me that the removal of this claim about Trump's world-historical corruption was done "on legal advice."

Translation: Trump's threat of a lawsuit, no matter how bogus, has now been rewarded.

This is heartbreakingly cruel and hypocritical. The same admin that has redefined refugee status to cover white South Africans is now going to drown thousands of refugees already approved for their status in red tape, potentially even seeking to strip some of their status and deport them.
Trump Admin planning a rule to re-decide whether *every* refugee who entered under Biden meets their criteria for a refugee. That’s 230,000 people! And no appeals!
