Man. Boorman's Excalibur is the type of movie that justifies the existence of 4k bluray as format. Glad to see it's finally coming in February.

what the fuck do you MEAN the guy that supposedly did it had worked with the CIA previously and was one of the DESPERATELY FEW non-white asylum seekers that trump allowed into the country this year?????

THEYRE JUST FUCKIN WITH US
you're fucking telling me that RIGHT after a judge said "there's no justification to have troops all over DC," a "scary foreign muslim invader" pops 2 soldiers a few blocks from the white house? you've gotta be yanking my fucking nutsack here dude
isn't it funny how right after a judge said deploying the national guard in DC was illegal, a big shocking related spectacle event happens out of nowhere to justify sending even more troops into the city?

It's not nice rewatching a show from my childhood about adults and realising I'm now much older than all the main characters.

Saw there was a new Defunctland and searching it up quickly glanced and thought the runtime was listed as about 41 minutes, which I thought was a disappointing follow up to the first animatronics video. Then when I got home I got to about 50 minutes in and looked again. Whoa!

No shame in paying the bills with the Marvel shows but I desperately hope Benson and Moorhead get back to making some of their own movies soon.

The good news: the president has pardoned the turkey.

The bad news: two hours later the turkey was arrested for running a ponzi scheme and committing acts of gross sexual imposition.

DOGE was always a very thinly disguised con to dress up data theft and extraction class destruction of federal corporate oversight as innovative, and it's important to remember that part of the reason it worked so well is that the press helped legitimize it
hey don't be so hard on yourselves; it delivered oceans of sensitive government and citizen data to billionaires
Musk’s DOGE Quietly Killed Off After Delivering Almost Nothing
The agency disbanded eight months ahead of schedule.

Google at its peak was basically the best information retrieval system in human history and they and every competitor decided going from there to “you didn’t want answers you wanted half-assed auto-complete 80%-wrong hallucinations” in a few years was the right idea

I hate the look of Hollywood fantasy films since about Burton's Alice in Wonderland onwards. Oz the Great and Powerful, the Wicked Movies, whatever they were going for with the Nutcracker: The 4 Realms (?).

I like how some some branding rather accidentally works out as a description. The Universal Monsters are treated as universal. A lot of those Grimm fairy tales are pretty grim.

There will be an ocean of digital ink spilled to rehabilite Marjorie Taylor Green. Do not fucking let them. She is a ghoul who has committed her adult life and political career to spreading lies, supporting attacks on democracy and mocking victims of school shootings.
