Now I've done my 4 Niv silly smug dragonboi no islands spicy Commander deck I'm going back to my roots and making 3 Pauper decks (one red burn, one blue tricksy and a little combo experiment) as well as a shared library Dandan thing.

My headcanon is these are the decks Niv flops out for funsies. :3

integrated with violence, kitsch and barefaced worship of shallow excess is just anathema to me.

It's not enough to just tax the rich, they avoid these things with impunity and get off on doing so.

We have to make flagrant excess and exploitation too dangerous to contemplate, if it's not too late.

There's this old idea Aristotle talked about of 'magnificence', the concept that if you have a good life and have wealth and prosperity and status that you have a fundamental duty to give back in a meaningful way to the society and state apparatus which enabled that happening.
It's all inverted now.

Everything we do presupposes the work and specific knowledge of countless others,

To make a simple cup of coffee requires the input of thousands of others.

No one is "worth" tens or hundreds or thousands of other people.

It's crap.

Yes your taxes should support disabled people.

They should support homeless people.

They should support those living in poverty, children and the elderly.

This is literally the purpose of taxes, and I would far rather support those who need it than continue to enrich the elite.

Lmao we used to get stoned up there after work, it's about the right height and could mark a target, make it a bit more fun for all concerned.

I'm sure they've good some suitably condescending remarks about poor people to rub it their face.

Yea it's good for general and social anxiety, that's why my lil bro has been taking it for years but outside of very specific types of nerve pain I've never found it much of an analgesic.

It's interesting in that it's a GABA analogue which also acts on substance P.

Used not to get the dizziness :/

How do you find Lyrica?

It helps me sleep when I really need it but unfortunately it often makes me feel pretty dizzy and smeared (esp. around the 6 hour mark).

As for politics, I'd open every sitting with streeties stuffing a wickerman full of all the slumlords...

After my main computer shat itself recently with the motherboard frying completely it actually felt pretty liberating not to feel obligated to work on a heap of things.

Just checked my writing was salvaged then distributed the useful stuff like the chonky GPU to my little bro and his best friend :3

Finished my first proper commander deck and it really is spectacularly silly.
It's red blue with 2 basic lands (a mountain and a snow-covered mountain) and so I've met my condition of no repetition.

Boys said I should call it "Look Mom, No Island" or something along those lines.

Am pretty chuffed!

Ah I have a new strat which seems to work very well.

Transphobes all seem to be Zios (unsurprisingly bigots sympathize with privileged bullies) so it's easy to simply say religion isn't a valid basis for identity and has no basis in physical reality.

Christians and Jews simply don't exist.
