Nice to see Czechia in here despite Babis.

Disappointing not to see some of the big EU players like Germany, France, Italy, Spain...

"Stronger European military power" but then "national plan". Germany's always seen the European Union as a zero-sum game.

Every day with a russian refinery getting hit is a good day.

That's just Victor Orban.

I certainly would like to see Serbia as a reliable partner. I don't think that's going to happen with Vucic, though.

They've been used in the 1980s as an alternative to pesticides in both Europe and North America. Why importing Asian ladybugs instead of using the local species? Because they're so much easier to breed.

And that's why they're now an invasive species.

That's what they get for using LLM generation.

There's just not enough cartoons using rubles as a symbol of wealth, for some mysterious reason, so the AI falls back on dollars instead.

Let's get rid of the ethnic russian enclave of Köningsburg.

Nobel's wife never cheated on him due to non-existence as Nobel never married.

Ukraine should never stop as long as it doesn't recover its full territory, the return of all prisoners and abductees, and sufficient reparations to rebuild what russia has destroyed.

I hope France does not merely provide a testing range, but also assistance for the large-scale production of those interceptors.

All these people who sign up to kill and torture for money deserve a very painful death, served as soon as possible.

One very, very interesting place to hit would be the Yamal Cross. It would be such a glorious bavovna if some cheeky Flamingos decided to migrate there for the winter...

First amendment says that shaming her is legally protected.

As for her boss firing her over it, that's her boss's prerogative.

It's not part of Power Machines, so it's not directly related.

But still, it will not help.

The cartoon in question is "Nu, Pogodi!" for anyone who needs a reference. It still doesn't explain *how* this is a plot by the West to steal resources, but I don't think anything will ever achieve that feat.

And the bigger the gap grows, the more likely russia will default. That increased risk of default means people are less willing to buy bonds. So you have to entice them with bigger discounts... It's a vicious circle.
agreiz.bsky.social
This is the source of the discrepancy between "placement" and "revenue". The bigger this gap grows, the worse the financial situation of russia.

Also once the bond matures, people are paid back the *face value* of the bond. So again with our 50% discount, you pay 500 rubles, and when it matures you get paid back 1000 rubles. Plus all the 50 rubles installments.

It's absolutely not a sustainable way to finance the govt.
agreiz.bsky.social
Because 5% of face value is the same as 10% of sale value with a 50% discount.

Those are arbitrary numbers to make the math simpler, but that's what we have here. To avoid increasing the nominal yield, russia is forced to cheat by offering steeper and steeper discounts. The end result is the same.
