Target still doesn’t get it. They do not get to kick us in the nuts, put lipstick on a pig, then expect us to smile and keep spending. My lifestyle no longer includes shopping at there.

Florida needs a governor who doesn't fabricate emergencies in order to circumvent laws he finds inconvenient tomhis correuot agenda. #DeathSantis #wRonDuhSantis #GOPLiesAboutEverything
DeSantis is about to extend his “state of emergency” over immigration for the 19th time.

This started in 2023.

It enables him to suspend all kinds of laws and regulations he doesn’t like—many of them on issues (like porta-pottys ) unrelated to immigration. ⤵️

So… A BP agent filmed in LA in June kidnapping someone from a Walmart got arrested by Long Beach cops after drunkenly flashing his service pistol in a women’s restroom. He demanded they call BP Commander Bovino. After making bail he died of a drug OD at his parents house. lbpost.com/news/isaiah-...
A viral arrest, a drunken brawl and an overdose: the last days of a notorious Border Patrol agent
We obtained hours of body-camera video that give the fullest — and perhaps last — glimpse of Agent Isaiah Hodgson’s mindset when he became a flashpoint in the fight over immigration raids.

When you give up your health insurance because it's become unaffordable, you have Tim Kaine, Jeanne Sheehan, Maggie Hassan, Catherine Cortez Masto, John Fetterman, Jackie Rosen, and Angus King to thank for it.
Hassan: With the government reopening shortly, Republicans now finally have to come to the table. Or make no mistake, Americans will remember who stood in the way.

Trump's dementia in action.
He read “South America” as “South Africa” because he’s blind, but then he has to ramble incoherently about South Africa in order to pretend that he meant to say it.
Trump: "For generations Miami has been a haven for those fleeing communist tyranny in South Africa. I mean, if you take a look at what's going on in parts of South Africa. Look at South Africa, what's going on. Look at South America, what's going on. You know, we have a G20 meeting in South Africa."

Isn't saying "sectors of the economy are in recession" sort of like saying "parts of a woman are pregnant?"
TAPPER: Do you agree that the US is at risk of a recession?

BESSENT: I believe we are in a transition period here. I think we're in good shape, but there are sectors of the economy that are in recession

A story that's been buried: the MAGA convoy that went to down to help defend Eagle Pass against the invasion, only to discover that the border was completely secured, and had been for years.
without changing anything in the real world, you could literally tell maga chuds that immigration had been “fixed”, stop talking about it, and they would never know better.

remember their “convoy” to eagle’s pass, tx last year where they all showed up and were stunned that the border wasn’t “open”?

I've given my new Senator a lot of shit on here. But I don't think anyone with power has laid out the stakes of what we're facing as clearly as she does right here.

And if she's saying this, it's because she feels she must.

An embarrassingly obvious point, but...

This. Is. Illegal.

If anything like the rule of law were in force, Trump couldn't arbitrarily increase a tariff because he is annoyed.

In important and increasing ways, the rule of law in the US no longer exists.
