Love it. Obviously a smart guy and it will be refreshing to have a head coach who views the job with personal pride where he has to prove himself rather than as a temporary corporate retreat.
🇺🇸 Sources: Michael Bradley is the clear frontrunner for the New York Red Bulls head coaching job.

Nothing agreed/done yet, but expectation is Bradley will be next head coach.

Not sure any team is less prepared to fill the minutes of an injured player than the Rangers are with Adam Fox.

The Tampa Bay Lightning, who have had approximately 0 draft picks the last 5 years and a fraction of NYR's operating budget, continuously churn out minor leaguers who maximize their abilities at the NHL level.

Probably worth it for NYR to investigate why that is.

I saw the third period and that was enough

"Bought 400,000 of those fucking beansprout sandwiches generated in Chernobyl" is a bold use of revenue but we'll see how it plays out.
Here's a note I sent to our members about what we did with their money, and why we expect the Onion to outgrow the Washington Post.

We keep doing weird, hard shit — taunting ICE, yelling at Congress for not taunting ICE, buying bad websites — when nobody else does.

Our members keep getting papers.

Fox and Gavrikov as a top pairing in front of Shesterkin — all roughly in their prime years — is about as good as it gets for a defensive foundation. The Rangers have to find a way to build around that quickly.

When NYR initially acquired Soucy, I wrote about how his overall offensive impact was bad but, when he gets the puck in a shooting position, he's actually pretty good.

Really refreshing to see Zohran doing media like the @adamfriedlandshow.bsky.social and @majorityreport.bsky.social.

For all the talk about the need for Kamala to go on Joe Rogan or whatever, there needs to be a greater conscious effort to build up modern progressive media.

This is the fifth-straight #NYR season in which the team invested in some bad depth player and then re-discovered midway through the season that Jonny Brodzinski exists and is much better.
November 25, 2025 at 6:58 PM
Tonight Vladislav Gavrikov showed he can do everything Ryan Lindgren could do (suffer a freakish injury like a 19th century steel mill worker and continue playing) but also much more (drive two-way play against the opposition's best players).
November 25, 2025 at 2:49 AM
In a pretty talent-less game for both teams, a true top pairing of Adam Fox and Vladislav Gavrikov has been the separating trait for #NYR.

The Rangers look like a team trying to note lose rather than a team trying to win. All risk is gone from their game. Everyone managing the puck like someone afraid to make a mistake rather than determined to make something happen.

You people are pathetic

Laughing at the Saints adding William Sherman to the active roster for today's game against Atlanta.

Brett Berard's effort in the AHL has been awesome all season. Recently the offense has started to come efor him.

NYR have been sleepwalking recently and could benefit from some adrenaline.

If the NHL season ended tonight then (by points percentage) #NYR would be projected to select 7th overall.
November 23, 2025 at 5:12 AM
NYR puck management in the D zone has deviated the last two games from their usual standards this season.
Which is to say, it's become very poor.

Those are the types of decisions from Scott Morrow that led to Rod Brind'Amour losing trust in Carolina.

Don't forget: President Trump relentlessly attacked @zohrankmamdani.bsky.social & did everything to stop his win.

It's funny how his tune changed when confronted with Mamdani’s actual focus on affordability — something Trump claims to care about.

Let this be a lesson: Always stand up to a bully.
November 21, 2025 at 9:45 PM
I think the simplest explanation for what just happened is that Trump is a dementia-riddled narcissist who lacks object permanence and is impressed by whoever last spoke to him.

Also, Mamdani's team definitely prepared him to lead off by bragging about how nice his golf courses look or some shit.

Carson Soucy is having a wonderful game.

Panarin is the primary culprit on this goal. Egregious turnover. Especially at this stage of the period.

However, I would like to point out how MacKinnon twists Trocheck into a pretzel to get open. NYR's lack of a true shutdown center gets exposed against teams like COL.
Colorado goal!

Scored by Nathan MacKinnon with 00:27 remaining in the 1st period.

Assisted by Martin Necas and Samuel Girard.

Colorado: 1
New York: 1
