At some point the UK should consider if it should issue a warning to the US that it will aid Commonwealth countries that are threatened. This is a least the second one, Canada and now Nigeria. We had Reagan invade Grenada.
My MP and I am proud that I have never voted for her, or for that matter, her predecessor Osborne. At each election her share of the vote has reduced, and at the last one she turned the constituency into a marginal, which is how popular she is.
associate with the family.
cellar.
After he went glug, glug, glug. Not only was his criminal use of the Mirror's pension scheme exposed. Both Ian and Kevin Maxwell were tried and found not guilty of fraud.
It is surprising with this history that there weren't red lights showing for the RF and that Andrew wasn't told not/
He was always referred to in Private Eye as the Bouncing Czech. A man who's money was made from translating and publishing Eastern European text books in english via a Pergamon. He was also a former Labour MP, and boasted about making a profit when in charge of HOC catering - by selling the wine/
It is quite iconic. I have seen a Youtube urban explore video about it. It's now abandoned, which is a pity as it so epitomises the 1960's.
/William for 20 years.
/The real question is what we expect from the monarch and the RF. In the past some were given roles within the Commonwealth, like Governor General, it gave them something to do and understand about constitutional matters. We have had Charles hanging around like a spare part for 50+ years and/
of the Empire were consulted the British Government would have had its ways whichever way the others had gone. Likewise with the fallacy about the removal from succession of Andrew, the probability of him succeeding to the throne is so remote and if he did there would be no throne to ascend to.
No I do fully understand the question, most of which arose in 1936 during the time leading up to the abdication when a lot more countries had to be consulted on the proposal by the King that he would enter a morganatic marriage with Wallace Simpson. The truth of it was that although the countries/
In 2021 the Barbados decided that it would appoint its own head of state, did we 7 the other countries with the crown as their head of state give permission? If we did, then would Barbados have stopped appointing it president? Do any of these countries contribute to the cost of the RF?
Why I said it is a fallacy is because if we look at it then the UK is not a sovereign nation, it cannot decide who will be its head of state without the consent of each and everyone of the 14 nations and they are not sovereign states because they equally can decide on their HOS independently.
Isn't that a bit of a fallacy? I take it that the 14 countries are Commonwealth members who have the same head of state as the UK. Isn't it up to each country to make their own choice and not be reliant on the others choices?
Of course he is, that is his Ann Widdecombe Appreciation Society garb
Dear Lee, who can explain his views from the political salons of the Westminster glitterati to the post-industrial ex-working men's club in a succinct manner that a 5-year-old could understand and appreciate, indeed some would say that they were written by someone with the capacity of a 5-year-old.

In his letter to The Times, John Claughton, a former Eton Master apologised for some of the former pupils it had 'educated', unfortunately, he missed Cameron and perhaps when he updates his letter, not only will the former PM be included, but also his fellow Etonian, Kruger.
Agreed. Celia knowing who Robert was should have raised alarm bells. Celia with her modulated vowels which are more in keeping with the Lady of the Manor rather than a tenant farmer, and the threat she made to Joe a few weeks ago should also have raised some question. However, now she has Bob ...
I blame his mother (and father)
The Daily Mail is very good at making up stories when it knows it won't be sued!
I notice it is pushing the Wales', it's current favourite couple, as being the instigators of removing the titles from Andrew.
I just blocked. I am fine when people have a different view, but when someone goes off on a conspiracy theory with no factual evidence I block them.
I am missing most of the episodes by fast-forwarding through all the April drugs storyline.
That is incorrect. The Princess Royal asked that her children were not given titles and so did Prince Edward
If you remove what happened yesterday, ask yourself why Beatrice and Eugenie are princesses. The answer may be that they are grandchildren of a monarch however so are Peter Philips, Zara Tindall, Louise Windsor and James Windsor none of whom carry the title prince/princess.
