Last year I went through some pretty rough conditions and felt very disconnected from my creative talents. It took a long time for art and passion to flow naturally again.

It's a good reminder of the impact of stress, and that you can adapt and pass through rough times.

If you live in a food/activity desert your health is definitely more difficult to maintain.

I was putting on some weight when I lived in a fairly remote mountain town, but when I moved to Madison it was so easy to do tennis and hit the gym before work!

When I became a vegetarian I tried to keep doing low-carb diets, and you just eat like... white goo all day. Cottage cheese, mozzarella, yogurt, protein powder.

Gave it up for a more active lifestyle instead!

I think macro-micro people have thicker skin about that stuff, I feel like I see them fetishize medicine all the time.

My theory is that vore people don't fetishize the dentist often, despite the obvious connection, because it's such an uncomfortable topic that you risk triggering people's actual memories.

Nobody wants to see an awesome mawshot then remember getting a cavity filled. Too much dissonance.

When I did calorie counting I would put cauliflower and shredded chicken in a no-carb vegetable wrap. It was a bit of a battle. 😿

I did this in like a half hour and it was really fun.
