and instead when I asked where they were at 2pm she responded at 3:30 that they decided to stay a little later and she got back home at 6pm. so I rarely see them and for the day that I travelled 300 miles /to hang out/ she was gone for 7 hours with no communication after we made plans to hang out

also for clarification in case anyone thinks I’m a bitch: I’m visiting my parents (see them maybe like 6 times a year for like 5 days at a time) and she told me she was going to be back at 1pm today to make my favorite meal and watch tv together so we could hang out

my mom was once again inconsiderate and rude and selfish today but I’ve built up so much mental space between people’s bullshit and my feelings that I’m generally not that bothered by it!! no crisis no feeling like I’m the worst person ever just pride in myself for knowing I deserve better treatment

on October 11th 2025 this year I got breakfast with my friends and then went on a walk to pick up litter in my neighborhood and then took a huge nap and then got high and drunk and played video games into the AM hours
