Sadly, once a crow couple trust you and you give them food, the downside is that other crows try to muscle in on their patch. It's happened to a few crow families I feed.
If they trust you, you're doing a great job

It's a soft chew stick for cats. No idea what is really in them but the crows go crazy for them (as do cats). I suppose it contains a little meat. Dread to think what other stuff is in there. You can get them for dogs too but they're a little tougher to chew but the crows don't seem to mind

Thanks Cory. Yes, this crow has moulted in a really strange way and there is another one just like it but much smaller than all the other crows. I assume it's the moult but I'll find out for certain in the next month or two. If the chest does not heal, it's probably something else
