Thanks to Sir Edward Leigh for screening #GazaDoctorsUnderAttack in Parliament.

This gave MPs a critical opportunity to hear directly from doctors, and the film’s director and producer about the horrendous attacks medics face in Gaza.

It’s essential that these voices are heard on our TV screens.

As a surgeon, I know how important it is to change how the NHS delivers care, including improving access closer to home.
On Friday, I visited Thurrock CDC for its official opening, with the site able to deliver 75,000 extra tests, checks and scans a year. @MSEhospitals

Great visit to St Paul’s High School for their Pupils' Parliament election!

I had the chance to chat with and be interviewed by some of the students. Later, we joined a meeting with teachers to discuss exciting future plans for our 'Classroom to Careers' project.

Yesterday, I was delighted to give school leavers in my constituency a chance to speak with key employers across several different industries, to give them an opportunity to learn what roles are available for them after school.

No serious government can continue to function with the level of contempt the SNP has for our defence and shipbuilding sector. I welcomed the £10bn of Norwegian govt investment and 2000 jobs the UK Labour govt secured meaning shipbuilding will grace the Clyde in Govan for years to come.
