Once I got past the menuing hell (I have a mouse profile just for xi that makes menuing a bit easier) and the opaque mechanics I have honestly had more fun playing xi than xiv lately. Yknow how black mage in xiv has a word document guide. Almost every job in xi is that complex I love it

I will say it’s been very nice in xi that I could just ignore the parts of the game I wasnt interested in on account of the expansions all happening concurrently. I started the game for prishe so I finished chains of promathia first and only did rise of zilart for continuity reasons right before
