Mosaic of the Strange is the latest take on Mosaic/Minesweeper puzzles from Mark Ffrench, who is very good at making logic games I just want to chill out to. (Please don't ask how many hours I have in Logic Town.)

This one goes a step up with the ability to change difficulty levels, and a story!

Cats & Cups is a cafe management sim, but it's also has you do extra little steps to prepare the drink/foods, like Cooking Mama sprinkled throughout.

Using mouse wasn't as intuitive, but the added layer of gameplay didn't feel clunky or shoehorned in, just a very cozy time.

It's been a while and I don't know how much of October 2025's Next Fest I'll get to

but also you're damn right I fired up Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era almost as soon as I got home 😤

HoMM3 is my great love in the turn-based strategy series and this felt like reuniting with a dear friend.

A magical weekend, much more than expected

So of course leaving would be a hassle 😅

I reflected on how I’ve grown as a person (as happens when you travel with someone you’ve known all your life), and I’m so lucky to have become who I am now
