The warmth of his fur ran through my fingers one last time last night. He curled motionless in the nape of my neck as he did for 19 years- one last time. I told him I loved him. I held him and said I was sorry he couldn’t be with me forever. He snuggled he licked my nose. And then it was over. Niles

LA was perfectly fine before all this. Passing out critical information to the people in the crosshairs was not on my to do list. And the firefighters are taking a stand and using their trucks to run the bad people away. Love them.

My absence from socials started with the fires in LA, rushing my parents into assisted living, back and forth there, juggling art shows and whew, a girl needs a break. So I sat down with some instax and printed some travel photos from London and France when my work was being shown at Photo London.

Hello there. I forgot about this app. Mainly due to all the travel I’ve been putting in running from exhibition to exhibition, caring for my mother with Alzheimer’s, the death of my father, lots of friends in need of a listening ear.

Oh it was a proper sign. I wonder if our road maintenance crew just lets it stay there to see if anyone is paying attention. Normally they remove joke warnings. I’ll make another pass next week and see. Ha
