I just checked if it was true that therapist told Ed Gein that he was monster and turns out to be false. They diagnosed him with schizophrenia. That’s my problem with Ryan Murphy’s Ed Gein series, too much fictional in it. But yeah, I can see how Ed Gein inspired horror genre
