Took me asking to figure it out but that boundary showing up on radar is the W/NWlies coming down the strait and pushing inland interacting with dry Fraser outflow.

Beautiful mid-Oct temps over the #BC Lower Mainland as outflow cdtns bring a drying, warming wind! Relative humidities >25% over most of the reg w/ White Rock the prov hotspot at 17.3C at 3p.

At 7am MT it was 15°C at YEG - Edmonton Intl Airport, it’s now 5°C at 6pm MT. Modified Arctic air making its way across Alberta as a gusty NW wind ushers in the colder airmass. Lows near freezing w/ the chc of an o/n flurry for the AB capital.

The storms “too far south” for me but could watch the boundary interactions on radar all day. Something you don’t see on the BC Coast save for the very rare occasion.
