I realise most of our recent wins seem to come when we have <50% possession, but we seem unable to just keep the ball these days. (We miss Pascal badly.)

**SCALA!!! NEWS**

I'm DELIGHTED if not a trifle mindblown to announce the first single from the great Barry Adamson's amazing soundtrack for our debut movie SCALA!!! is released today by Mute, the coolest record label in the galaxy. The whole OST is out in January. Blimey.

You're absolutely not unduly influenced by *this* government, I'll give you that.

Each to their own, I guess, but not for me. I invariably chat with drivers when I get a cab. Admittedly most of my cab rides are when I'm a bit pissed, but… And I'd much rather give my ££ to a cabbie (even one with stereotypical London cab driver politics) than Google.

I'm as up for the novelty as anyone, but is 'fear of having to talk to another human for 20 mins' a serious business model?

Also has one of my all-time favourite sleeves. (I rarely play it, but wouldn't consider selling it just for that.)

I just showed this piece to a colleague. He used to run the line for his son's games. Said the abuse was constant. The final straw was when coach of his son's team joined in.

Some outstanding tales in this, of which these two might be the pick www.thetimes.com/life-style/p...

Unfortunately, as a member of Antifa he's just been declared a terrorist. No movies for him.

Is it because he's a crook and so are they?

Ofcom seems to be little more than a captive of the previous government.

"The poll… has accurately predicted the result of the last three general elections."
Would love to know about this poll predicting Labour landslide in spring 2021…

That's quite a big 'if' (I've never seen him interviewed, so I honestly dk how he'll fare), but if they *really* go for him, hypnotits and all, he could be the first Green leader with real name recognition. Not necessarily a bad thing when your goal is 20–25%.
yatesyman.bsky.social
The overwhelming majority of his target voters despise the press (and would recognise when broadcast media are simply echoing its lines of attack). If he faces them down with confidence and without trimming to appease them, I doubt it would do much damage.

That's a lot less of a worry when you're trying to take your party from 8% to 20–25% than when you're trying to win outright in FPTP.

It’s funny how black people are expected to reach across the aisle to voters like these, while no one ever expects them to reach across the aisle to black people. Amazing who gets to be human, and who doesn’t.

POLITICO: “.. They referred to Black people as monkeys and ‘the watermelon people’ and mused about putting their political opponents in gas chambers. They talked about raping their enemies .. and lauded Republicans who they believed support slavery.

Is this STILL going on? I blocked one of these pompous bores at the weekend and assumed that would be the end of the matter, at least for my t/l.

I'm sorry, is the Trump Administration talking to a tech platform?

Is it...requesting content moderation?
Today following outreach from @thejusticedept, Facebook removed a large group page that was being used to dox and target @ICEgov agents in Chicago.
The wave of violence against ICE has been driven by online apps and social media campaigns designed to put ICE officers at risk just for doing their jobs. The Department of Justice will continue engaging tech companies to eliminate platforms where radicals can incite imminent violence against federal law enforcement.
