Today, the Defense Department confiscated the badges of the Pentagon reporters from virtually every major media organization in America. It did this because reporters would not sign onto a new media policy over its implicit threat of criminalizing national security reporting and exposing those who sign it to potential prosecution.
The Pentagon Press Association's members are still committed to reporting on the U.S. military. But make no mistake, today, Oct. 15, 2025 is a dark day for press freedom that raises concerns about a weakening U.S. commitment to transparency in governance, to public accountability at the Pentagon and to free speech for all.

…Unfortunately they did come in & ran to the sinks, which made us all react to the pepper spray that was in the air & all over them. The shop owner gave us all free water bottles to help our throats though, which was nice.

It did make our pizza taste interestingly spicy though😅😅

I was once witness to a scene where cops failed to mace a dude they were trying to arrest… indoors… which backfired on them beautifully.

Even funnier was the pizza place I was in trying to refuse them coming in from the covered terrace they’d gassed, bc the owner didn’t want the fumes in his shop.

Toronto does too. You can get around most of the downtown core, all the way down to the lake, all underground on the PATH. There is (or was idk) hundreds of shops too

That is… if you can actually find your way around down there since it’s a jumbled mess & doesn’t match the city’s grid system

There was a collective in the DTES that did this… basically ran a harmredux weed shop/dispensary type thing… but for dope/coke etc.

I wonder if that club still exists or if everyone got busted… I should look it up when I have the spoons to brain.

We’re really going backwards on harmredux & street health in general… I’ve been so lucky/privileged to have a doc willing to work with me despite the govt trying so hard to take away the things that got—& keep—me stable.

I just wish everyone that needed it had the same access I’ve been able to get…

Plus the rules & restrictions for getting the “good stuff” makes it damn near impossible for someone still on the streets to be able to stay on program… & our conservative govt keeps attacking harmredux/safe injection sites making it even harder for those that need the most help & support…

Really wish there was a #SafeSupply option for stims like there is for dope… (wish there was better access for the opioid program too since it’d help folks & save lives from overdose trauma) but the legal stims don’t tend to cover the high tolerance for ppl using tweak so it’s hard to switch off…

I can hear someone shouting in the distance rn… I was also approached by a couple dealers when I was in the park/the 519 grabbing my own harmredux gear… but I haven’t touched that stuff in 2+yrs since I don’t trust the purity of the street supply any more—nor do I need it since going fully legal tbh
