That's obviously being hyperbolic, there are a lot more things different between those two franchises, my point is just that Battlefield has always been way closer to Call of Duty then something like Arma.

People seem to have locked themselves into this echo chamber of deceit that Battlefield 3 to Battlefield 1 were like the peak of tactical gameplay. When in reality they are just effectively Call of Duty with more gadgets.

I'm convinced like 90% of the people who say they're Battlefield fans are just completely lying. If you want to play something hyper tactical this isn't the game for you.
