Front cover of The Accidental Time Travelers Collective Volume 3, with a mysterious figure standing in an open doorway.
I know it's the word for a scene break in a chapter, but I swear my sister used to call me "dinkus."

I've seen these on sidewalks all over Chicago this week. I remember this kind of marketing working well when I was an undergrad.
Sidewalk chalk reads "NO KINGS PROTEST THIS SAT 10/18"

Just read a short story draft and I don't think I'm done. I wrote myself this note at the end.

Anybody want to read a rough draft and help me figure out what it is?
A handwritten note in a journal reads "Chekhov's gun is still on the table - what is it?"
7 drew this at school today. Not sure if I'm more proud of his talent, or his choice of subject.
A drawing of a baseball on fire
I don't remember what film my family took me to see when I was 8 or 9, but I do remember watching Cujo out the car's back window.
Name a FIlm you saw at a Drive In Theater.
I forgot to say it's Day 15.

That's all.

"He unzipped the pocket that held his emergency parachute ripcord, and gave it a tug.
Nothing happened.
He gave it a much harder tug.
Still nothing."

Yeah, that's from BLUE SKIES. And yeah, it sucked.

And it wasn't even close to the worst thing that happened to me that day.

Yes - I would love to share this with you! I do have to type it first, so it might not be tonight...

Thanks!
The media often seems to think that the second half is that all the rest of the apples are just fine and dandy.

Have you got your signed copies yet? Next person who orders I’ll sign it with what my greatest fear is!

Plus some people say they are pretty good 🤷‍♂️

I enjoyed Tale of Two Cities, but there are definitely some sentences that could be a page or two shorter.
You're right; I should have cut it. 😁

I tried to write like Dickens for a little while; it was a time of eloquence, it was a time of overindulgent verbosity.

I tried to write like Hemingway for a while. It was good.
Day 13:

I know, I'm late. Sorry. It's been a crazy couple of days.

What does someone else think of me? Well, Annie loves me. I'm sure of that. She also thinks I'm an idiot for going skydiving for Dave's 50th birthday.

I don't know, maybe she's right.
