In case you're curious about the Midnight hunter pet looks I've catalogued so far, I've just created an EARLY draft of a guide!

It's under construction and MANY more models are yet to be added.

Also, I haven't yet flagged which looks are/aren't tameable.

Enjoy!

Here are all the new models - and new looks for older models - that we've found so far in the Midnight Alpha/Beta Test. This page includes looks that are both newly tameable and those that aren't tame...

One day I’m going to convince them to at least add a “followRun” animation that basically defaults to FlyRun if the follower has it, instead of ground running

Consumptors are another addition to the Worm family coming in Midnight. They're reminiscent of the cave borers from TWW.

Consumptors coming in MIdnight: kind of rocky grub-like creatures with glow effects. Blue with purple glows, brown with orange glows, black & white with red glows, brown with yellow glows.

These mukleeches are a new and unusual addition to the Worm family in Midnight. They come in a range of cool two-tone colours.

www.wow-petopia.com/midnight.php...
Mukleeches coming in Midnight. These are creepy crawlies with a hard upper carapace, no visible eyes, six arthropod-like legs, and a mouth full of very sharp teeth. Olive, Bronze & green, Dark Brown & Purple, Red & Green, Black & Brown.

A range of bright new colours for the Dire Toad. This one actually uses a new model, but it's identical in shape to the original one from BfA so I've grouped them together on Petopia.

New dire toad colours: spotted cobalt blue, yellow & blue, rich green, red with indigo legs, greeny-yellow.

We're seeing a lovely new eagle model in Zul Aman, in a bunch of novel colours, including some undead ones.

Potential Midnight hunter pets - looks added to the database today.

First, the amazing new dragonhawks!

Note that the last (plain golden yellow) one is actually the skin for the Light-infused dragonhawk model, but it works very nicely on the standard model.

Montage of 8 new dragonhawk looks added in WoW: Midnight. Black, blue, green, orange, purple-pink, red, red-yellow, golden yellow.

This looks like a 1970s prog rock album cover.

Midnight hunter pet models added to the database tonight.

(A thread - I'll add one panel per post!)

First up, the gorgeous, ethereal new EVERSONG MANA WYRMS.

A stunning update, and a call-back to the wyrm in the BC trailer, which was a lot fancier than the game model ended up being.
Model shots of 6 mana wyrm colours coming in WoW: Midnight. Essentially, flyng ethereal serpents or eels with translucent back halves and beaky, scaled faces. Colours: blue, green, purple, red-gold, dark purple, gold.

Direhorn. I misspoke when I said Clefthoof originally and reposted a correction to it later. Not everyone probably saw it :(

Their mouths remind me of Stranger Things.

POTATOADS! At first, I wasn't sure if these playful muppet-like bipedal pollywogs would be tameable or just be critters, but it turns out they are - in the Hopper family (of course!).

It's very likely taming them will require the Florafaun taming skill, which we don't yet know much about.
Model shots of 5 colours of the new Potatoad model coming in WoW: Midnight. These are like bipedal Pollywogs with plant effects (leafy growths, blooms at the ends of their tails). Colours: blue & green, red & green, maroon & teal, red & green, green & tan.

SPOREGLIDERS are a fancy and welcome addition to the tiny Sporebat family.

Their frame is clearly similar to the new dragonhawk model, even if the creatures aren't related.
Model shots of 4 colours of the new sporeglider model coming in WoW: Midnight. These are somewhat fungoid, long and sleek, flying creatures with 6 fleshy wings and a network of glowing protuberances and the ends of their tails. Colours: teal blue with pink glows, olive green with orange glows, magenta with cyan glows, and bright red.

A lovely addition to the water strider family, this appears much like an update for the Fen Stalkers from Outland (though their colours don't match the ones from that model and so they probably won't replace them).

They don't seem to have a consistent name so calling them MIRE STALKERS for now.
Model shots of 4 colours of the new Mire Stalker model coming in WoW: Midnight. These are like fungoid beasts on tripod legs with a head section like some sort of 'Portuguese Man O' War'. Glowing tendrils emerge from their heads. Colours: teal blue with pink glows, olive green with orange glows, purple with cyan glows, red with red glows.

Finally for tonight, THORNMAWS.

Another plant beast that requires the Florafaun taming skill, these creatures are in the Scalehide family. It seems likely they were probably based on plant-pangolins.
Model shots of 6 colours of the new Thornmaw model coming in WoW: Midnight. These are quadrupedal plant beasts covered in woody and leafy skin, with a set of sharp fangs in their maws. It's possible these are intended to be plant pangolins. Colours: Teal-violet, maroon-green, green-gold, purple-green, red-cyan, green-tan.

A gorgeous new corpsefly look in the 11.2.7 database. Sadly, not currently used by a wild creature.

It was created for a new Turbulent Timeways mount, but since wild & mount corpseflies share a model it's readily available for both.

🤞 a wild one will be added!
