I felt like my deck kinda failed the cube by being very linear and one-note. Lost to someone combo-ing off with Devilish Vallet which was sweet as hell.

I loved Study in Harmony when I got to play it in 2023, and I'm glad someone is maintaining it after @matt-grenier.bsky.social decided to focus on other projects. It's one of the best designed high power synergy cubes I've ever played.

I love playing Magic with weird cards, and I've also thought a lot about building in the "Old Bad Rares, New Broken Commons" space, which this feels very akin to. This cube desperately needs some Landscapes, but otherwise I'd imagine it to be very fun.

I'm not going to be making it to CubeCon this year (bummer!) but so excited for my friends with cubes in the event, for new players to experience the event and all the cubing that exists!

I did want to go through and put together a list of "If I were going" - these are the cubes I'd want to try!

Almost everything in it was proxied (Will-o-the-Wisps were like, legitimately expensive because they were Unlimited and Above printings only) so I don't always remember, but it was one of several "I cannot win a 1v1 game, and I will not play one" decks that we had floating around the 6th floor...

I think Smuggler's Copter and Barrogoyf would also be in contention for me, but my POV is definitely colored by my experience with Phelia, which is that whenever my opponents play it, it's incredible, and whenever I play it, it's just a 2/2 that does very little.

My Guesses:
-Gigapede. You loved this deck so much and it was an evolution of your deck building from GB Madness and brought you a lot of joy.
-Gnaw to the Bone. You are a Johnny for sure, and you truly loved using this as a burn spell to dome people for 40 or whatever
