The determination of journalists to be unbiased is endangering American democracy. Journalists should not be impartial about whether America's current form of government, and with it the free press, survive.

The folks claiming that immigrants are eating pets? The people who deny climate change? The ones who lie about losing elections and then try to violently change the results? Maybe the ones saying kids are using litter boxes in schools?

They even had to debate whether it was OK to write that Trump had told “lies”.

And even today they push a “both sides” narrative out of fear of accusations of bias and violence. From one side.

So yeah, if I’m critical of the only profession protected by the Constitution, there’s good reason.

Our media ho hummed Bush v. Gore and then cheered on the Iraq War.

They gave voice to Trump’s birtherism and then handed him billions in free airtime.

They glossed over both of Trump’s impeachments and the GOP acquittals.

They attacked Biden relentlessly because he was old. And egg prices.
