Brazil get the win over England! 🇧🇷

They held on in the second half following Bia Zaneratto and Dudinha’s goals in the opening 45.

Georgia Stanway scored from the spot to try and mount a comeback, but the Lionesses lose their first game since winning the Euros.

Brazil lead England by two goals to nil with Bia Zaneratto and Dudinha the goalscorers ⚽️

Brazil only have ten in the field however, with Angelina sent off in the 21st minute 🟥

A lot of work for England to do and defensively they have looked shaky.

Spain look like they have one foot in the final following a 4-0 win against Sweden tonight. Klara Bühl’s 79th minute goal has Germany in front against France.

Unfortunately another player confirmed to have suffered an ACL injury this past weekend was Tottenham’s Maite Oroz.

The midfielder went off during the second half of the League Cup game vs Birmingham City at the weekend, and will undergo surgery in the coming weeks.

Liverpool have confirmed that forward Sophie Román Haug has suffered an ACL injury.

The Norwegian forward went off in the first half of the Subway League Cup tie vs Durham last week and will now be out for an extended period of time.

Here’s a results recap and how the league phase table looks following the conclusion of MD 2!

Arsenal, Bayern Munich, Chelsea and OH Leuven all won for the first time ✅

Barcelona, Real Madrid, Wolfsburg, OL Lyonnes and Manchester United have 100% records so far 📈

All going well for Real Madrid against PSG, they lead 2-0 with goals from Naomie Feller and Alba Redondo ⚽️

Bayern and Juventus are level at 1-1 and also Benfica vs Arsenal is locked at 0-0.

Manchester United hold on for their second league phase win as they beat Atlético Madrid by a goal to nil!

Both teams ended the game with ten players each, with Dominique Janssen sent off in the first half, and then Alexia Fernández went in the second.

Linde Veefkind equalised from the penalty spot, and then a late winner in stoppage time was scored by Sára Pusztai.
