Chilli and Anna chat with each other in a school hallway, as other fellow students pass on by. Chilli describes a late night horror film she saw on TV last night. "...and then she shoved the tennis racket down her throat! There was blood everywhere! It was the greatest movie I've ever seen..." Anna, concerned, replies, "Gosh... I hope she recovered from that..."

Anna has a reflection on the school floor. Chilli does not, due to being a vampire.

Left: A yellow anthro dog looks at the viewer with a frightened expression. She's wearing a white dress shirt with a dark colored skirt. She has on mis-matched white socks with dark colored shoes. She has her left arm sticking out in front of her. On that arm is a mysterious eye. The eye seems to be emitting some sort of dark goo, which surrounds the top half of the dog's arm.

Right: The dog is melting. The skin on her head is melting like wax to the point where we can see her skull It almost appears as if she's smiling, but it's hard to tell for certain. Her left arm is now completely covered in goo, and it looks very disfigured. The goo seems to be spreading to her outfit, which is also melting away.

The background is light yellow. The border around the piece is thin and is the same color as the dog's fur on the left.

Panel One: Eli and Freddy are back at Freddy's house. The book is placed on the living room couch.

ELI: Gosh, your house is so gorgeous, Freddy! How can you even afford a place like this? Or like, just a house in general.

FREDDY: I thought I told you. I have a secret double life as a criminal defense lawyer.

Panel One: Summer gets suckerpunched in the face by Chilli.

Panel Two: Summer gets thrown towards and hits a tree in the park. Chilli follows her.

Panel Three:

CHILLI: YOU HAVE NEVER HELPED ME! Everything you've ever done to me has made my life worse in every way!

SUMMER: Okay, m-maybe "help" wasn't the right-

CHILLI: SHUT UP! Did you think you helped me when people on TV were threatening to kill me? Or when the Mayor actually DID try to kill me?

Panel Four:

CHILLI: OR WHEN YOU BULLIED ME EVERY SINGLE DAY? OR WHEN MY MOM LEFT ME?!

Summer looks pissed off.

Captain or Capn for short and his soul and puppeteer Lieutenant or LT. Capn has a missing eye covered by an eyepatch and bright green pupils. Despite appearances LT is the one who's in control, being an amalgamation of 15 souls all melding together into one. However LT likes to "play pretend" of sorts, like a ventriloquist, and act as if it's separate from capn. Their bodies are intertwined as much as their souls, so Cap's body can break down into shadow and LT can change into any object given there's enough shadow to be found.

Panel 1 of comic: Vivian is knelt down on the floor of her cottage. She is knelt over some type of dirt or ash, upon which, a glowing red runic circle is inscribed. She's holding a piece of red chalk, presumably a magic chalk used to create the circle.

Galem is observing this scene from the foreground as asks: "Doing a ritual today cutie? What kind?"

Vivian replies: "A spirit summoning!"

Galem replies: "Oh? What For?"

Panel 2: Vivian looks sad and defeated as she answers: "I"ve been trying to summon one of those ghosts that look like tiny marshmallows for years! I want one to float around the cottage for Hallow's Eve so badly!"

She has her hands out as if she is holding a ghost. Above flutters a depiction of said type of ghost for the reader: A white cartoon ghost reminiscent with an open O-Shaped mouth as iff letting out an "Ooooo"

Panel 3: Vivian holds a fist up and has a determined look on her face as she says "I keep failing, but this year I have new reagents, and a new circle! I'll get one this time!"

Panel 4: Galem looks skeptical at Vivian's chances of success as he replies:: "Are you sure about using a totally new spell for this? From what I've heard, it's easy to grab a malevolent spirit by mistake unless you know what you're doing"

Panel 5: Vivian coyly smiles and puts a hand to her chest as she responds: "I appreciate the concern, but don't worry! I know exactly what I'm doing!"

A yellow text box in the gutterspace reads: "5 Minutes Later"

Panel 6: The scene is silent with no dialogue, the atmosphere at the cottage has gone from brightly lit, to very dark, and is painted in a different style to accenuate the mood, Galem is hiding behind a wall next to an open doorway. He looks terrified and is nevously glancing towards the doorway, which egresses into a pitch black hall. In the hall, a possessed Vivian hangs from the ceiling. Most of her body is cloaked in darkness but her face is bright and visible, peeking out from the darkness.

Her body and face have been twisted beyond regular poroportions. The posssessed Vivian's face has an impossibly wide smile full of razor sharp teeth, and her red eyes now pierce the blackness, looking blankly ahead

She did not know what she was doing afterall.

Hannum, a yellow, middle-aged devil, leans down with an unlit cigarette, graciously leaning down to his cohort Ratzy, a living plush, who smokes his own cigarette. He struggles to meet Hannum in the middle-- he stands on his own tail, offering up a lit match. While Hannum seems unconcerned with anything, Ratzy looks at the viewer with his singular eye with a mix of shame and frustration, none of which is directed to his friend. Grime and smoke swirls behind them, Hannum's hair disheveled under his hat, betraying both Hannum's poise as well as an elegant boarder that frames them both. The deep black hues of their designs are impacted by the smoke, revealing color.
