Style over substance.. so bat, yet so natural as a phenomenon. Every civilisation may fight it. What will it evolve into, when we win? It will not simply dissapear. Such is the essence of transcendence. Evolve trough phenomenon. Rarely purely win, mostly change.

I long believed conciousness to be the same everywhere. Would alien contact us, inside we would be alike. Turns out we are so guided by our hormones, our body, our food, we may act differently depending on our environnement. We are not pure logic, so, diversity still exists in conciousness. To see.

Humans never want money. We want tangible animal things. Warmth, food, love. We want what it can buy, what it represents. But do not expect to be someone else the day you become rich. You are forever in your head, will have to eat, sleep..

There is a right way to taste the pleasure of this world. Do not give yourself up to them, or you will lose and weaken yourself. Such as with objects, pleasure should be beneath you. You should be able to give it up without suffering. Show respect to yourself, and the pleasure will respect you

Know the difference between priority and investment. You may be invested in a game, but your parent calling to come eat takes priority.
Be ready to give up an investment of any size for priority. Trough it is a dynamic model, investing a lot in thing A makes thing A a higher priority sometimes

Some forgets that life was never meant to be easy.
It is right to cry from your wounds, but any wound you have is one you let yourself have.
At the base of your existence as an individual, you are responsible for your safety.
If you're wounded, be full minded of why, and your spirit will prevail

You're in charge of all that happens to you. Extension of the concept of responsability. No one is born with the same chances, but only yourself has the moral authority to take care of yourself at each second. Even the most caring of mothers are sometimes away. You're forever still there with you.

Do not yearn for the past, for if it has changed, then it was not fit to survive. Yearn to recreate something that will have equal value to you. And greater, if you truly have advanced in life since.

Do not listen to only one person. Or to people agreeing with each other. Consider it intellectual incest. Listen to people you do not like. Understand why you like and dislike, and do not fool yourself about your feelings. Criticism against all protects you from going the stupid dark ways
