I read it and found it just okay. I soft dnfed almost halfway through because I couldn't get invested. If you like Stephanie Garber's writing you'll probably enjoy it, I've heard its very similar to Caraval

Finished! 3.5 or 4/5⭐️

Holy cow that ending had me screaming. So this was definitely not the slowburn it was marketed as 😅. The pacing was a little strange at times and the story itself fell flat at moments. It was good and I see myself continuing the series, I just liked Ruinous Love more I think.
