Honestly, it's super fun! It's like collaborative writing, in a round-about way. Esp when you get into the groove and start putting out paragraphs per reply (not necessary, but it's fun!) 😋💭

I suppose it's from going my whole life feeling ashamed of how I consumed media? It surely didn't help that I was a weird little black girl who was already ashamed of existing the way I did in general. So now, I can't find myself enjoying how others usually participate in fandom/shipping culture

This isn't my vaguing about a specific ship btw. I just ... really like seeing how others build upon and expand an already established world to fit one more outlier who "doesn't belong". The loving craft of building the world around a little piece of your heart and creativity and mind and wonder

Only exception is sonic ships and. AsaReze / QuanBeni. But I personally believe the creativity that stems from fans who really like their Blorbos trumps pairings between characters already established in their respective media

I have seen others, way back when, hold the largely fandom-adopted idea that ocs and oc x canon was cringy and awful and inferior and to this day I think that oc x canon and selfships are actually superior. Very rarely do I care for canon ships. They mean nothing to me

I don't tend to dabble into ccxcc ships too often, but I do find myself drawn to QuaBeni 🤔💭. I really don't have any concrete reasoning as to why the ship appeals to me so much. I like wlw pairings and think they're cute together

Yoshida likes to watch people eat but AFAIK he never makes the food, just buys it. Which is okay, bc Gabi can make enough food for the both of them and look at Yoshida with biiig wet eyes until he eats too
