I love the one where Ozzy's trying to start a fire on the beach, and then they have to blur out him mooning the campfire. He's singing "I like warming my butt by the fire!!!" 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I have never understood why people would go to a show for any other reason than for the music. I think it's really sad to hear those kind of stories about women not feeling safe going to concerts, regardless of genre. Then again, I've always been the type to keep to myself.
I hope you love it as much as I did. So much fun.
By the way, we should still be in Afghanistan, and I don't know why we left. 🤣🤣🤣
"It's not trespassing. It's adventure!"
Fun facts: The Millennium tour was my first big arena concert. I've seen BSB a total of 6 times with my sister, including twice on the last tour.
Thanks for the heads up. I hadn't seen the post, but I blocked that creeper too.
Dear J.D.: Don't you have a couch to go fuck?

Sincerely yours,
A freedom loving liberal.
Now seated for Dogma: Resurrected! This screening is almost completely sold out, and I am really excited to revisit this famously out-of-print (and very controversial) cult classic with a big crowd.

And not a single fuck was given by any of us in Green Bay. FTG - he sucks.
My new website is now live! Only one blog post there for the moment, but future commentary on films, music, television, and other areas of interest can be found at wiscocinephile.com
I went for my second viewing tonight with a nearly sold-out Tuesday (discount night) crowd that laughed throughout. My first viewing last Friday was a matinee with about 6 other people who were dead silent - I was the only one laughing, on the verge of hyperventilating. That was kind of awkward.
I just saw it for a second time, this time with an audience where I wasn't the only one laughing. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
"JIMP?" 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Now seated for #FriendshipMovie round 2. I will be very disappointed with this (nearly sold out) audience if I'm the only one laughing again.
I'm going back for seconds on Tuesday. I laughed hysterically throughout my screening yesterday and the several other people there didn't seem to get it. I hope I get a better crowd next week.
Now seated for #Sinners. If this movie was shot on film with IMAX cameras, why are they cropping it all the way down to 2.76:1? Weird artistic decision.
One year ago yesterday, I appeared on Tales Of The Force, a podcast for and about "Star Wars" fans to share their personal stories. To mark the anniversary and to observe Mental Health Month, I'm posting it here.

I love "Diamonds Are Forever" more than most Bond fans probably do. I think it might be tied with "Goldfinger" as my favorite. There's something very 'comfort movie' about this one, it revels in its own campiness. And Charles Gray makes a hilarious villain.
The same year, #MarthaWash also sang the hook on C+C Music Factory's "Gonna Make You Sweat", which had a similar controversy using another singer in the video. So many great tracks on that Black Box record, BTW.
I love that song. There was a time I was so sick of it, but I think if I heard it now it would make me smile. Now, if I heard it a dozen times on repeat, that CD would go out the goddamn window. Lol
My response -
Dear Donald:

Fuck you.

Sincerely yours,
Adam
25 years ago tonight, I saw Nine Inch Nails live for the first of three times. A Perfect Circle was the opening act. I've kept my ticket stubs and t-shirt all these years. A street evangelist picketing the show informed me that I am going to hell for this. I wish I kept the leaflet she gave me. 🤣
What an invertebrate. Any member of Congress who refuses action because they fear retaliation ought to resign or face a primary challenge.
